Nokia resmi mengumumkan ponsel barunya dengan nama Lumia 505. Saat pertama mengunjungi situs global resmi nokia belum ditemukan penjelasan produk terbaru nokia ini. Ternyata informasi tentang spesifikasi Nokia Lumia 505 bisa kita lihat di situs nokia Meksiko. Ponsel ini sendiri rencananya baru akan diluncurkan di Mexico melalui Telcel. Belum ada informasi lebih lanjut mengenai kehadirannya di wilayah lain termasuk Indonesia.

Smartphone ini memadukan prosesor single-core 850 MHz dan RAM 256MB. Tidak terlalu mewah memang. Untuk keperluan memotret, Nokia sudah menghadirkan kamera berkekuatan 8 MP. Lebih lanjut, Lumia 505 memakai layar seluas 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED yang mendukung resolusi 480 x 800 piksel.
